Ecuador has a new UFC representative.
Mayton Perea thrilled in the Dana White's Contender Series 92 main event Tuesday when he knocked out Oklahoma's Zevan Hunt in 45 seconds at Meta APEX in Las Vegas.
The fight was fast and furious, with a smiley Hunt (7-1) falling into mount in the opening collision. Perea (9-3) found his way to the feet and clocked Hunt with a big punch. Hunt scrambled for a leg but was elbowed over and over and eventually put down and out again by a series of punches.
