Tony Ferguson successfully defended his Misfits Boxing middleweight title.
In the co-feature of Misfits Boxing: Cejudo vs. Walton, Ferguson took on Mahmoud Fawzy Sebie. The fight that was scheduled for six three-minute rounds took place at James L. Knight Center in Miami. Ferguson only needed two, as he swarmed for a TKO stoppage at 0:42 of the second round.
Just as "El Cucuy" appeared to be getting his rhythm going in the first round, he was then taken off his feet after a punch from Sebie – but the moment was ruled a slip, and not a knockdown.
A few moments later, Ferguson had Sebie trapped in the corner, unloading big punches. Sebie managed to circle out, but then Ferguson chased and landed more heavy shots, stunning Sebie in place. Another
big right hand sent Sebie crashing to the mat. Sebie beat the count.
Things got interesting very quickly in Round 2, as Sebie came out on fire, stunning Ferguson with a clean shot. The moment of momentum was very short-lived, though. Ferguson quickly gathered himself, and trapped Sebie in a corner again, and unloaded a barrage of punches. Sebie could do nothing but cover up, and the referee decided to wave off the fight.

During his post-fight interview, Ferguson said he needed to get hit good once to get his mind off of losing his mother, who died a couple of months ago. After thanking the fans and the promotion, Ferguson was then challenged in the ring by Austin McBroom, who has been competing in the influencer boxing circuit.
Since exiting the UFC, Ferguson transitioned to boxing competition, where he has won all three outings. The former interim UFC champ also made an appearance on the wrestling mats at RAF 10, where he was beaten by Arman Tsarukyan.
