The PFL women's flyweight division will soon have a champion.
Liz Carmouche and Jena Bishop are set to rematch for the vacant PFL women's flyweight title in the main event of PFL Chicago, which takes place on Oct. 16 at the Wintrust Arena. The promotion announced the matchup on Wednesday.
This is a rematch that stems from last August, when Carmouche (26-8) knocked out Bishop (11-3) to win the 2025 PFL women's flyweight tournament.
Since that bout, Carmouche has submitted former UFC contender Viviane Araujo at PFL San Diego in June. Meanwhile, Bishop competed twice, submitting both Borena Tsertsvadze in April and Ariane Lipski da Silva in June.
Apart from winning the PFL tournament, Carmouche is a former Bellator champion. She won the belt in 2022
and defended it three times before getting stripped of her title with PFL's acquisition of Bellator in 2024. Carmouche also a former UFC title challenger. She fought Valentina Shevchenko and lost a decision in 2019.
No other bouts for the PFL Chicago event have been confirmed at the time of writing.
