Bogdan Guskov apologizes for his performance at UFC Fight Night 282.
Guskov (18-3-1 MMA, 4-1-1 UFC) was finished by Magomed Ankalaev (21-2-1 MMA, 12-2-1 UFC) in the fifth round of their main event this past Saturday at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. It was a rather lackluster affair which drew boos from the crowd.
The 33-year-old was originally scheduled to rematch Jan Blachowicz in Saturday's UFC Fight Night 283 event in Belgrade, Serbia, but was pulled to face Ankalaev on short notice after Khalil Rountree withdrew due to injury.

Guskov, who was recently on a four-fight finish streak, was uncharacteristically tentative. He landed only 45 total strikes and was controlled for over eight minutes in the fight before getting stopped.
