The UFC's annual September return to Paris got a lineup expansion Thursday.

Mairon Santos will put his unbeaten UFC record on the line when he takes on Nathaniel Wood in a featherweight matchup at UFC Fight Night 287. UFC officials announced the booking as part of the lineup at Accor Arena in Paris for the Sept. 5 event (Paramount+).

Along with Santos (17-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) vs. Wood (23-6 MMA, 11-3 UFC), a matchup between Daniil Donchenko (14-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC) and Puna Soriano (13-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) at welterweight has been added. MMA Junkie confirmed that matchup with people with knowledge of the booking who asked to remain anonymous because the UFC has not yet made a formal announcement. The booking first was reported by Heavy.com.
