The referee and judges have been chosen for one of boxing's biggest bouts of the year.
Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn collide Sept. 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in an event co-promoted by Zuffa Boxing that streams on Paramount+.
During a monthly meeting Wednesday, the Nevada Athletic Commission announced who the four other most important individuals involved with the main event will be.
At the recommendation of NAC executive director Jeff Mullen, referee Tom Taylor will be the third man in the ring, while Tim Cheatham, Max DeLuca, and David Sutherland will be the judges scoring.
Garcia (25-2) looks to continue momentum from a February unanimous decision win over Mario Barrios, while Benn (25-1) aims to make it three-in-a-row after consecutive unanimous decision victories
over Chris Eubank Jr. and Regis Prograis. The WBC welterweight title, which Garcia holds, will be on the line.
