PHILADELPHIA – Jeremiah Wells met the media Saturday after his win over Myktybek Orolbai at UFC 330.
Wells (14-4-1 MMA, 6-2 UFC) pulled off an all-time upset when he choked Orolbai (16-3-1 MMA, 5-2 UFC) out cold with a third-round guillotine to open the prelims at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia.
Orolbai was a -1400 betting favorite in the fight and was up two rounds on the scorecards when Wells caught him with a right hand that stunned him. When Orolbai went after a defensive takedown, Wells took his neck and choked him unconscious for one of the biggest upsets in UFC history.

Wells, a Philadelphia native, won a $100,000 performance bonus for the finish and said in his post-fight interview in the cage that if the UFC wants him around still, and wants him to fight a ranked opponent, he’s ready. And if not – he might consider walking away at 39.
