PHILADELPHIA – Mackenzie Dern and Gillian Robertson locked in their strawweight championship bout by making the title limit at Friday's UFC 330 official weigh-ins.
Dern (16-5 MMA, 11-5 UFC) was in form in advance of the opening defense in her reign against Robertson (17-8 MMA, 14-6 UFC), who will challenge for UFC gold for the first time in Saturday's co-headliner at Xfinity Mobile Arena (Paramount+
).The two grappling standouts combine for the most submission wins in a women's UFC title fight, and they both appeared ready for five rounds. Dern was 115 pounds on the scale about 15 minutes into the two-hour session. Robertson came to the scale about 10 minutes later and was the same, on point at championship weight at the session from the host
hotel in the "City of Brotherly Love."
