The heavyweight title will be on the line when the PFL returns to the Middle East this fall.
Heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov (20-2) will defend his title against Sergey Bilostenniy (15-4) in the PFL Dubai main event. The promotion announced the event Monday for Nov. 14 at Coca-Cola Arena, the same venue the PFL has been to twice already this year.
The 34-year-old Nemkov, a student of Fedor Emelianenko, has not lost in more than 10 years. His lengthy Bellator run included the heavyweight title and multiple defenses, and he's gotten little resistance since the PFL merger with easy wins over Bruno Cappelozza, Tim Johnson and Renan Ferreira.
Bilostenniy, 30, also from Russia, doesn't have the same credentials as Nemkov, but gets his first title shot
on the strength of five wins in his past six fights. He rebounded from a decision loss to Valentin Moldavsky with knockouts of Karl Williams and, most recently, Ferreira in May.
The PFL held one of its MENA events in Dubai in May. In February, lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov defended his title there against Alfie Davis. This will be the PFL's fifth event in the city.
