What is the story about?
Check out this week's "Spinning Back Clique," MMA Junkie's weekly live show that takes a spin through the biggest topics in mixed martial arts.
This week's panel of Brian "Goze" Garcia, coach John Crouch, Jero Guerra, and Danny Segura will join host "Gorgeous" George Garcia live at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT) to discuss and debate the following topics:
- UFC 332 left us with a new champion and possibly a new title contender. In the main event, Natalia Silva won the vacant UFC women's flyweight belt by outpointing Wang Cong for a unanimous decision. In the co-feature, Payton Talbott made easy work of former champion Deiveson Figueiredo. How would a fight between Silva and Valentina Shevchenko go? What's Talbott's ceiling at 135 pounds, and could he get his Sean O'Malley callout granted? We discuss.
- This past week, the UFC added several big bouts to its calendar. UFC Qatar on Nov. 21 got Jiri Prochazka vs. Navajo Sterling, Aljamain Sterling vs. Kevin Vallejos, and Dan Hooker vs. Brian Ortega. UFC 335 on Dec. 12 got Charles Oliveira vs. Diego Lopes for the BMF title, Alex Pereira vs. Sergei Pavlovich, and Bo Nickal vs. Joe Pyfer. We analyze and share our early predictions for the bouts.
- Lastly, we look ahead at Saturday's UFC Vegas 122. We preview the middleweight main event between Brendan Allen vs. Christian Leroy Duncan, along with other notable bouts on the card.
