Paramount announced Thursday that Shevchenko (26-4-1 MMA, 15-3-1 UFC) will appear on the Sept. 30 episode of "The Challenge: The Cutthroat," a long-running MTV reality competition show, as she puts contestants through a "Trial By Combat" challenge. The season was filmed in Thailand, where Shevchenko trains.

For those curious about the timeline given Shevchenko's injury that caused her to recently vacate the title, the episode was filmed months ago. Shevchenko has not spoken in-depth about her injury or what's next, but top contenders Natalia Silva and Wang Cong will compete for the vacant title in the UFC 332 headliner Oct.
