Don't get your hopes up for a UFC event at Mt. Rushmore. Dana White claims that's not what's happening.
After the UFC has put on grandiose events at Sphere in Las Vegas and the White House in Washington DC over the past few years, the UFC CEO has recently stirred rumors and speculation by revealing his plans for another "impossible event" in the near future.
White was asked directly in an interview with Barstool Sports of the event could take place at Mt. Rushmore grounds in Keystone, S.D., but he did not provide a direct answer. The online rumor mill took his lack of denial as a hint of truth, but White told "The Pat McAfee Show" on Friday that is not the venue that's in the process of being finalized.
"It's definitely not Mount Rushmore," White
said. "No, it is not going to be Mount Rushmore. Actually, 'Cocky' Craig Borsari just landed last night. He's been on the site where I want to do it for four days, checking out the possibilities of getting this done. So hopefully in the next couple of weeks I can break (the news)."
White did not give any additional details about the potential event.
