That just happened – finally.
After a decade of trash talk and circling each other, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua finally came face to face ahead of an officially scheduled fight between them. Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) and Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) engaged in a respectful staredown to promote their highly anticipated heavyweight showdown scheduled for Dec. 11 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales (Netflix).
The faceoff happened Wednesday after a surprisingly cordial press conference with both fighters.

Since the fight was announced last week, much has
been made about Dana White's announced involvement as a promoter, which immediately set off his rival, Eddie Hearn, who manages Joshua. White was not in attendance at Wednesday's press conference and was not mentioned as a promoter when Michael Buffer announced the names prior to the start. However, Turki Al-Sheikh mentioned White's name when thanking his partners, which drew boos from the crowd in the room.
