Serving as something of "the people's main event" is a featherweight fight between Tommy McMillen and
Marwan Rahiki that has fireworks written all over it.
McMillen, who is getting similar treatment to his stablemate Sean O'Malley, is essentially the Zoomer and streamer generation personified into an MMA fighter. And though his sideways hat and sunglasses look exudes a level of 'sweet bro' that brings me back to high school, McMillen brings an undeniable drive to what is a highly entertaining style.
McMillen, like Rahiki, has some serious defensive issues standing but has proven to have the recoverability and resiliency to implement his preferred style.
I don't doubt that McMillen will have an output advantage and some quiet grappling chops in his back pocket, but I can't help but see a leg kick and left hook magnet anytime he fights. For that reason, I'll take a flier on Rahiki, whose head is as hittable as a tetherball at recess, to land one of his patented knockout punches in the first half of the fight.
