Former UFC title challenger Marlon Moraes is working as a police officer in Florida, and one traffic stop subject found that out the hard way.
In a recent viral body cam video, Moraes, who works for the Coral Springs Police Department (Fla.), is seen being verbally challenged by a man who was pulled over in a parking lot. The man told Moraes, "You can't do sh*t," only to discover the opposite was true.
Moraes displayed patience until the man took a step toward him, at which point he tripped the man to the pavement and other officers assisted in putting him in handcuffs.

The incident took
place March 27 but just recently came to light online. It's unclear what the man is alleged to have done that caused him to be pulled over to begin with.
Moraes, 38, has worked as a South Florida police officer since 2024. He retired from MMA in 2023 but announced a comeback in 2025. He won for the first time in seven years Aug. 28 when he defeated Maximilliano Perez by unanimous decision at LMC 2 in Brazil.
Moraes is best known for being a UFC bantamweight title challenger and former World Series of Fighting (WSOF) bantamweight champion.
