A striker's delight has been added to UFC Fight Night 292.
Randy Brown takes on Carlos Leal in a welterweight bout on Oct. 31 at Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Two people with knowledge of the matchup recently informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.
Brown (29-8 MMA, 14-8 UFC) has split his past six appearances. After knocking out Nicolas Dalby in a Fight of the Night performance, the 36-year-old dropped back-to-back fights against Gabriel Bonfim, and Kevin Holland at UFC 327 in April.
Winner of four of his past six, Brazil's Leal (23-7 MMA, 2-2 UFC) rebounded from a quick knockout loss to Muslim Salikhov by defeating Chidi Njokuani by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night
267 in February.
