George Staines ended Dana White's Contender Series 94 with a brutal bang Tuesday.
In the headlining bout, Staines (11-0) slammed opponent Loai Abushaar (7-2) and knocked him out at 1:01 of Round 1. The lightweight bout took place at Meta APEX in Las Vegas and earned Staines a UFC contract from Dana White.

England's Staines, 26, now has five finishes in 11 victories. He competed six times for OKTAGON, and then four times for Cage Warriors, prior to Tuesday's fight.
Arizona's Abushaar, 30, competed for various regional promotions across the U.S. prior to his DWCS bout. The loss snaps a four-fight winning streak.
