UFC 332 has lost a fighter and a gained a replacement three days out from the event.
On Wednesday, the promotion announced newcomer Anthony Romero has stepped up into a lineup vacancy opposite Marcus McGhee, who was originally scheduled to face Bernardo Sopaj, who withdrew due to injury. The bout will take place at featherweight Saturday at Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
California-based Romero (7-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) is the UNF bantamweight champion and has won three of his most recent four bouts. Nicknamed "The Bully", Romero has six finishes in seven pro victories.
McGhee (11-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC) fights a promotional debutant for the second fight in a row. He was expected to face Jakub Wiklacz in June. However, Wiklacz suffered an injury and was replaced
by John Yannis, who McGhee defeated by unanimous decision. The win bounced him back after a unanimous decision loss to Petr Yan in July 2025.
