Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams ruptured his hamstring during Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals and is expected to miss the next 6-10 weeks, according to Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay. The injury's recovery timeline makes it unlikely that Adams will be available when the Rams host the Packers on in a standalone Thanksgiving Eve game in Week 12.
Even if Adams ends up on the short end of the recovery, Packers-Rams is in six weeks, and a rare Wednesday night game means an extra short week of prep in Week 12.
With a 6–10-week timeline, Adams will go on injured reserve.
Adams, a second-round pick of the Packers in 2014, caught 30 passes for 480 yards and four touchdowns during the Rams' first six games. In his first season
with the Rams in 2025, Adams led the NFL with 14 touchdown catches.
Adams was hurt while running a route into the end zone late in the Rams' shocking 18-16 home loss to the Cardinals on Sunday. He immediately grabbed his left leg and then exited the field.
The loss of Adams is another blow to the Rams, who are 2-4 after six games. Defensive end Myles Garrett hasn't played since Week 1 and still isn't ready to practice, per McVay.
The Rams are also losing defensive lineman Poona Ford and kicker Blake Grupe to season-ending injuries, and defensive lineman Kobie Turner will miss 4-6 weeks while on injured reserve.
