The Green Bay Packers added cornerback Keisean Nixon to the injury report before Thursday night's showdown with the Carolina Panthers. The team says Nixon is questionable to play with a shoulder injury.
Nixon joins four other questionable players for the Packers: receiver Matthew Golden (foot/shoulder), defensive linemen Anthony Campbell (ankle) and Devonte Wyatt (ankle) and edge rusher Brenton Cox Jr. (quad). Linebacker Zaire Franklin (shin), center Sean Rhyan (ankle) and right guard Travis Glover (knee) have all been ruled out for Thursday night.
Nixon practiced all week without limitation. He has not missed a game since joining the Packers before the 2022 season, appearing in all 75 regular season games. Nixon started the first seven games of
the 2026 season as the defense's left cornerback.
Not having Nixon available on Thursday night would push either Carrington Valentine or Benjamin St-Juste into the starting lineup opposite rookie Brandon Cisse. St-Juste is expected to return after missing two games with a hamstring injury. Kamal Hadden is also available at corner.
The Packers defense is about to face ascending young receiver Tetairoa McMillan, who ranks 11th in the NFL in receiving yards entering Week 8.
Gameday inactives are due for the Packers and Panthers at around 5:45 p.m. CT.
