It was a struggle in the passing game for most of the contest. Love completed 16 of 29 passes for 145 yards and two scores, and he didn't turn the ball over, but he averaged only 5.0 yards per attempt and took three sacks. He was also fortunate to have not lost his fumble. Both of his touchdown passes came in the red zone inside the 10-yard line. His passer rating was 91.9.
Injury updates
Coach Matt LaFleur said Jayden Reed (neck) has feeling in all his extremities but will remain in the area overnight. He also said Zach Bako-Bewele could have a season-ending knee injury. Both Reed and Bako-Bewele were carted off during the first drive. Others who left the game include Aaron Banks (toe), Bo Melton (stinger) and Donovan Jennings (hand).
