The Green Bay Packers released the team’s first injury report of the 2026 regular season on Wednesday. The team will release two more injury reports, including a final injury report on Friday with official playing status designations, before facing the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 of the 2026 season on Sunday.
Here’s everything to know from the Packers' first injury report:
Participation report, Week 1 at MIN
- Did not participate: LB Ty'Ron Hopper (Achilles), DL Warren Brinson (calf)
- Limited participation: OL Zach Bako-Bewele (knee), G Aaron Banks (knee), DL Javon Hargrave (knee), LT Jordan Morgan (knee), EDGE Barryn Sorrell (ankle), DL Devonte Wyatt (ankle)
- Full participation: None listed
Big things to know
-- One name you won't find: Tucker Kraft. He is full go at practice and appears ready for a full workload come Sunday.
-- As Matt LaFleur said, both Zach Bako-Bewele and Aaron Banks were limited on Wednesday. Bako-Bewele sounds confident in his ability to play Sunday, while Banks is more of a mystery.
-- Jordan Morgan is a surprise name on the injury list. He's dealing with a knee
injury, but the 2024 first-round pick was able to practice in a limited capacity on Wednesday.
-- Warren Brinson might be hard pressed to play in Week 1. He's dealing with a calf injury that dates back to the second preseason game in Denver and did not practice Wednesday. Elsewhere along the defensive line, veterans Devonte Wyatt and Javon Hargrave are still dealing with injuries, but there's no indication that either player is in danger of not playing Sunday.
-- Ty'Ron Hopper didn't practice because of an Achilles injury. It's unclear if this is a significant injury or not; Achilles injuries tend to either be significant or minor.
-- The Vikings only listed three players on their first injury report: Only safety Jakobe Thomas (illness) didn't practice on Wednesday.
