It took Jordan Love five attempts, but the first completion of the 2026 season for the Green Bay Packers quarterback was a memorable one on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium. After starting 0-for-3 and then seeing Jonnu Smith's catch overturned on replay, Love fired a second-down completion to Christian Watson over the middle of the field, and Watson raced 81 yards for Green Bay's first touchdown of the year.
After an 0-for-4 start, Love is now 1-of-5 passing for 81 yards and a touchdown. And the Packers now lead 9-0 in the first quarter in Minnesota.

Officials initially threw a flag for an illegal block, but they huddled and eventually picked up the flag. Replay showed Matthew Golden
making a legal block as Watson turned the corner on the touchdown.
Watson, who received a lucrative contract extension this offseason, made the catch at the 35-yard line and then covered the final 65 yards to score.
The 81-yard touchdown is the longest play of Watson's career and the longest completion of Love's career.
