Green Bay Packers rookie Dani Dennis-Sutton returned to practice this week after dealing with a heat-related illness, but the fourth-round pick will not make his NFL debut on Friday night against the Denver Broncos. Dennis-Sutton is among 14 players not suited up for the Packers during the second week of preseason.
Others not playing on Friday night include defensive back Javon Bullard, who has an ankle injury, and several other veterans who recently returned from injuries.
The following players won't play for the Packers against the Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High:

- S Javon Bullard (ankle)
- RB Josh Jacobs (recently returned from groin injury)
- WR Jayden Reed (recently returned from ankle injury)
- CB Carrington Valentine (recently returned from hamstring injury)
- LS Matt Orzech (PUP list)
- OL Zach Bako-Bewele (recently returned to 11-on-11)
- EDGE Dani Dennis-Sutton (recently returned from heat-related illness)
- G Aaron Banks (recently returned from knee injury)
- OL Darian Kinnard (ankle)
- TE Tucker Kraft (recently returned from knee injury)
- TE Luke Musgrave (PUP)
- DT Jordon Riley (PUP)
- DT Javon Hargrave (recently returned from knee injury)
The Packers are expecting to play starters to open the game. Kickoff from Denver is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. CT.
