The Green Bay Packers listed wide receiver Matthew Golden, defensive lineman Anthony Campbell, edge rusher Brenton Cox Jr. and defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt as questionable and ruled out linebacker Zaire Franklin, center Sean Rhyan and right guard Travis Glover on the final injury report before facing the Carolina Panthers in Week 8 of the 2026 season.
How will the injury situation affect Thursday night's primetime showdown with the Panthers?
Here’s an in-depth breakdown of the Packers’ final injury report ahead of Week 8:
QUESTIONABLE (4)
WR Matthew Golden (foot/shoulder): He returned in a limited capacity during Wednesday's walkthrough, keeping the door open to playing Thursday night. Savion Williams, Bo Melton and J. Michael Sturidvant would be up next for
snaps next to Christian Watson if Golden can't go.
DL Devonte Wyatt (ankle): He hurt his ankle but returned to the game last week in Detroit. Cut he gut it out on a short week? The Packers will be thin at defensive tackle once again if Wyatt can't go. He needs to get healthy and start disrupting more plays.
DL Anthony Campbell (ankle): He played 28 snaps in Detroit, so expect him to play Thursday night unless there was some setback. The Packers need him to be part of the rotation up front. His height and ability to knock down passes could be an asset against Bryce Young, a short quarterback.
Edge rusher Brenton Cox Jr. (quad): He was a late add to the injury report this week, but he was able to get in a limited practice on Wednesday. Cox, Dani Dennis-Sutton and Barryn Sorrell have all consistently played in the 30-snap range in recent weeks.
OUT (3)
LB Zaire Franklin (shin): The defense's captain will miss his second consecutive game after injuring his leg in practice last Thursday. It's possible he could be back after the mini-bye in Week 9. Expect Isaiah McDuffie and Ty'Ron Hopper to play all the snaps at inside linebacker.
C Sean Rhyan (ankle): He is expected to miss up to a month after suffering a high ankle sprain on Sunday in Detroit. John Williams is the assumed starter at center for Thursday night, but the Packers weren't willing to confirm starters at center or right guard beforehand.
RG Travis Glover (knee): He will miss Thursday night after starting four straight games at right guard. Who replaces him? Kevin Zeitler and Mekhi Becton are top options, but Aaron Banks and Laken Tomlinson are both healthy now.
NO STATUS DESIGNATION
Guard Aaron Banks and cornerback Benjamin St-Juste do not have a status designation on the final injury report and are good to go for Thursday night. Banks was active last week but did not play.
PANTHERS FINAL INJURY REPORT
The Panthers ruled out edge rusher Jaelan Phillips, guard Damien Lewis, cornerback Akayleb Evans and offensive lineman Torricelli Simpkins III and listed defensive lineman Bobby Brown III as questionable. Right tackle Taylor Moton was placed on injured reserve on Monday.
