Both the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears provided updated Week 5 injury reports following practice on Thursday. The two teams will release a final injury report with status designations following practice on Friday.
Running back Chris Brooks appears to be the only question mark for the Packers at this point in the week, while things are looking a lot better for Ben Johnson's team on the injury front following Thursday's practice.
Thursday updates for the Packers-Bears injury report:
Packers updates
The Packers returned rookie offensive lineman Jager Burton to practice in a limited capacity on Thursday. He's dealing with back spasms. Offensive linemen Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk and running back Chris Brooks did not practice, so all three are in danger of missing
Sunday. Receiver Savion Williams got in another limited practice while in his 21-day practice window, but the Packers would need to activate him to the 53-man roster for him to play Sunday.
Bears updates
Thursday brought a lot of updates for the Bears, who welcomed back five players to practice, including running back D'Andre Swift and three starting offensive linemen. Left guard Joe Thuney, right guard Jonah Jackson and right tackle Darnell Wright were all able to return and practice in a limited capacity on Thursday. It can be safely assumed the trio of linemen will play Sunday. Running back Kyle Monangai did not practice for a second straight day, so his status is up in the air due to thumb and toe injuries. Linebacker Keshaun Elliott also did not practice after a limited practice on Wednesday. Quarterback Caleb Williams was out again, as expected. Veteran Grady Jarrett practiced after getting a rest day on Wednesday.
Only change for the Packers is Burton goes from DNP to limited.

Talked to Burton after practice and he said heβs never had any back issues before. Said he was able to do the individual drills without any issues. https://t.co/BWhGgyBtJK pic.twitter.com/f17EwT5met
