The Green Bay Packers listed left guard Aaron Banks, receiver Bo Melton, cornerback Benjamin St-Juste and defensive lineman Jordon Riley as questionable and ruled out linebacker Zaire Franklin on the final injury report before facing the Detroit Lions in Week 7 of the 2026 season.
How will the injury situation affect Sunday's NFC North showdown with the Lions?
Here’s an in-depth breakdown of the Packers’ final injury report ahead of Week 7:
QUESTIONABLE (4)
LG Aaron Banks (toe/knee): Banks got in a second week of practice and could be on the verge of his return to the field for the first time since injuring his toe in Week 2. If available, the Packers will have to determine if Banks or Laken Tomlinson -- who has started the last three games -- is the best option
at left guard on Sunday.
WR Bo Melton (back): After missing practices on Wednesday and Thursday, Melton returned in a limited capacity on Friday. The Packers could get by without him at receiver, but he's a core special teamer and a key player for covering kicks and punts.
CB Benjamin St-Juste (hamstring): He didn't play last week after hurting his hamstring against the Bears, but he'll have a chance to return on Sunday after practicing all three days this week. St-Juste is a backup on the perimeter.
DL Jordon Riley (Achilles): Could he be ready to return? Riley has practiced the last two weeks. The Packers could use another capable player along the defensive front in a matchup against a top running back.
OUT (1)
LB Zaire Franklin (shin): The defensive's captain injured his shin during Thursday's practice and is out for Sunday. Expect Isaiah McDuffie and Ty'Ron Hopper to start at linebacker. A matchup with Jahmyr Gibbs is a tough spot for two backup linebackers.
NO STATUS DESIGNATION
Defensive lineman Anthony Campbell, cornerback Brandon Cisse, receiver Matthew Golden, quarterback Jordan Love, edge rusher Lukas Van Ness, receiver Christian Watson and receiver Savion Williams do not have a status designation on the final injury report and are good to go for Sunday.
Love dealt with back soreness early in the week but was a full participant each of the final two days of practice.
LIONS FINAL INJURY REPORT
The Lions listed defensive back Brian Branch and center Cade Mays as questionable. Both are coming off injury lists but were full participants at practice on Friday, and both will be expected to play on Sunday.
