In addition to Savion Williams returning after four weeks on injured reserve, Wednesday's practice provided two other notable things for the Green Bay Packers: rookie cornerback Brandon Cisse was participating, and veteran Kevin Zeitler appeared to take the starting reps at right guard.
Cisse exited Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second half, and the team reported him with a neck injury and a concussion evaluation. Coach Matt LaFleur said he passed the concussion testing, and it's clear Cisse's neck injury is a minor one.
Cisse's ability to practice on Wednesday -- during the first on-field work of the week -- is terrific news in terms of his availability for Sunday's visit from the Chicago Bears.

A starter at perimeter cornerback, Cisse would get matchups against Rome Odunze and Luther Burden III if healthy and available on Sunday.
Along the offensive line, it appears Zeitler -- who was inactive last Sunday in Tampa Bay -- is one step closer to entering the starting lineup at right guard. In the portion of practice open to the media, it was Zeitler taking the reps at right guard. Last week, Zeitler took reps off to the side of the line, while Donovan Jennings and Travis Glover worked at right guard. Glover started at right guard against the Buccaneers.
Could this be the starting offensive line come Sunday?

Once Zeitler is ready, the starting five of Jordan Morgan, Laken Tomlinson, Sean Rhyan, Zeitler and Anthony Belton might lock into place.
The Packers have Zeitler on a ramp up program. He's only been in Green Bay for a week, and he didn't get a training camp while unsigned and recovering from offseason surgery. But it appears Zeitler is getting closer to physical and mental readiness for a regular season football game.
Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk, two previous starters at guard for the Packers, are still not practicing. Banks has toe and knee injuries, while Monk is dealing with a quad injury.
The Packers will provide a first injury report of the week later on Wednesday.
