The three coordinators under Matt LaFleur for the Green Bay Packers -- Adam Stenavich, Jonathan Gannon and Cam Achord -- met with the media on Wednesday following the first six open practices of training camp.
One thing that stood out from each coordinator's press conference on Wednesday:
Offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich
On Jordan Morgan: "He looks really good. A lot of technique stuff we got to clean up with him, but he's out there, he's playing, he's looking like a left tackle in the NFL...he's gotten that confidence. He's our left tackle and he's out there to prove it to everybody."
Of all the moving parts on offense, arguably no new starter is more important than Morgan at left tackle. Stenavich said Morgan is finally playing his "natural spot" and looks good focusing on just
one position during training camp. Can Morgan provide an upgrade over Rasheed Walker, who really struggled at times in 2025?
Defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon
On Barryn Sorrell: "He doesn't make a lot of mistakes. He's a great teammate. He's tough as nails. And he can make a bunch of plays. It's been cool to see him, his versatility...he can do a lot of things."
The second-year edge rusher looks to be the early favorite to start opposite Lukas Van Ness while Micah Parsons is out. Sorrell had a big day at practice on Tuesday, featuring a few wins in 1-on-1s and a pick-six during 11-on-11. Can Sorrell take a big leap in 2026 and become a productive player on the edge? The Packers need him to step up early on with Parsons out.
Special teams coordinator Cam Achord
A demonstration on holding techniques: "Each kicker is different." Achord showed how holding is different for some kickers and in different elements. The special teams operation is working through adjustments with rookie Trey Smack.
