The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears will announce their inactive players 90 minutes before kickoff on Sunday afternoon, or roughly 10:30 a.m. CT. This post will update as more information on player availability is known and official gameday inactives for Week 5 are announced.
Football is a game of attrition, and the best teams are usually the healthiest teams. Here is who's in and who's out for the Packers and Bears in Week 5:
Packers inactives (updating)
Bears inactives (updating)
- LB Keshaun Elliott (ruled out)
- RB Kyle Monangai (ruled out)
Who is out for the Packers?
The Packers ruled out receiver Savion Williams, who is still on injured reserve/designated to return, and running back Chris Brooks, who went on injured reserve on Saturday.
Receiver Jayden Reed, right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper are on season-ending injured reserve, and edge rusher Micah Parsons
and tight end Luke Musgrave are among those still on the PUP list. Running back Josh Jacobs remains on the Commissioner's Exempt List.
Who is out for the Bears?
Running back Kyle Monangai (toe) won't play, and quarterback Caleb Williams is not expected to play because of his hamstring injury. Cornerback Kyler Fuller has been practicing but was not activated to the 53-man roster before Sunday. The Bears also ruled out defensive lineman Shemar Turner and linebacker Keshaun Elliott.
Left tackle Braxton Jones and safety Coby Bryant are among the Bears' most important players on injured reserve.
Question marks for Packers?
Offensive linemen Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk are doubtful to play, while rookie offensive lineman Jager Burton is questionable. Banks and Monk both missed last week, and Banks didn't practice all week.
