With the rivals of the Green Bay Packers in town on Sunday, Jordan Love, Christian Watson and Matthew Golden would not be denied.
In blowing out the Chicago Bears by a 31-7 final score, Love completed 25 passes for 367 yards, averaging 11.8 yards per attempt and 14.7 yards per completion, and Watson and Golden combined for 12 catches, 266 yads and both of Love's touchdown passes.
Dennis Allen and the visiting Bears had no answers for the Packers' big-play passing game.
According to Next Gen Stats, Love completed six of eight passes thrown over 20 yards in the air, and his career-high 258 passing yards on throws over 20 yards in the air represent the second-most by a quarterback in the NGS era, dating back to 2016.
Jordan Love completed 6 of 8 deep

Watson caught a 42-yard touchdown pass on the Packers' opening drive and later had a 53-yard touchdown catch to convert a 3rd-and-22 situation to open the second half. Golden didn't have a touchdown, but he averaged 20.8 yards per catch, produced five first downs and had a 50-yard catch late.
Four of Love's completions were over 40 yards.
Through five games, Watson and Golden are among the league's most productive receivers:
- Christian Watson: 26 catches for 474 yards, six touchdowns
- Matthew Golden: 24 catches for 397 yards, two touchdowns
Watson has a touchdown catch in four of the first five games. Golden, who was quiet as a rookie, now has three games with at least 95 receiving yards.
Tucker Kraft also set up a score with a 46-yard catch in the second half. Watson, Golden and Kraft all had catches of at least 45 yards, and the three catches represented 149 of Love's passing yards.
The Packers defense played its part, forcing five turnovers and creating four sacks against the backup quarterbacks of the Bears. Love, Watson and Golden were able to ensure a dominant performance from Jonathan Gannon's group finished in a blowout victory.
