Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was at his very best during Sunday's blowout win over the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field.
A review of the tape combined with the stats and analytics leave no doubt: Sunday was the best performance of Love's career as the starting quarterback in Green Bay.
"I felt like we were rolling. Play after play, drive after drive, making big plays," Love said post game. "It's definitely a good feeling, having a lot of explosive plays, putting up a lot of points...it's 'flow state,' feels like you're flowing out there. Play after play. Felt good to be able to do that at home."
Love completed 25 of 31 passes for 367 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions. He completed 80.6 percent of his passes and averaged 11.8
yards per attempt, both the second-best marks of his career in a start, while his 137.5 passer rating set a new career high in a game he started.
Sunday was the first time Love has ever finished a game with a completion percentage of at least 80 percent, over 350 passing yards, two or more touchdown passes and zero interceptions. He became only the second quarterback in Packers history to hit all four marks in a single game, joining Aaron Rodgers, who accomplished the feat three times. And he's just the 32nd quarterback to do so in NFL history.
Love had four completions gaining at least 40 yards, and he was 6-of-8 passing for a career-best 258 yards when throwing the ball at least 20 yards in the air, per PFF.
Love's PFF grade of 95.1 was a career best. So was his six "big time throws."
Per Next Gen Stats, Love's 258 deep passing yards (completions on throws over 20 yards in the air) rank as the second-most by a quarterback in the Next Gen Stats era, dating back to 2016.
Jordan Love completed 6 of 8 deep passes (20+ air yards) for a career-high 258 yards and 2 TDs in the Packers' Week 5 win over the Bears.

Only Russell Wilson (264, Week 2, 2025) has recorded more deep passing yards in a game in the NGS era (since 2016).

At ESPN, Love's QBR of 94.0 was the third best of his career and the fourth best QBR from a quarterback during the 2026 season.
Also per ESPN: Love had five completions on throws of at least 30 yards in the air, tying the new record, with tracking going back to 2006.

Love also joined the immortal group of Packers quarterbacks, becoming the fourth player in franchise history to have a passer rating of at least 130.0 (minimum 20 attempts) in a win over the Bears. The other three? Bart Starr, Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. Playing at an elite level against the Bears is a rite of passage for quarterbacks in Green Bay.
