The Green Bay Packers released the team’s first injury report of Week 6 on Wednesday. The team will release two more injury reports, including a final injury report on Friday with official playing status designations, before facing the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6 of the 2026 season on Sunday.
Both teams are dealing with injury issues ahead of the "Sunday Night Football" showdown at Lambeau Field. The Packers appear to have problems forming at both cornerback and along the defensive line, troubling issues for a defense set to face a talented Cowboys offense.
Here’s everything to know from the week's first injury report:

Big things to know
-- The Packers look perilously thin at cornerback, where Keisean Nixon (groin) and Benjamin St-Juste (hamstring) didn't practice because
of new injuries, and defensive tackle, where Javon Hargrave is set to join Warren Brinson on injured reserve and Jonathan Ford has a new calf injury. Keep a close eye on both position groups over the rest of the week.
-- Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb practiced fully on Wednesday, so he should be good to go for Sunday night. Lamb and George Pickens will be a tough duo, especially if the Packers are shorthanded at corner.
-- Aaron Banks returned to practice on Wednesday and was a limited participation. Banks and Jacob Monk appear to be getting healthy after multi-week absences. With 11 offensive linemen currently on the 53-man roster, the Packers may need to release one to make room for help at corner or defensive line.
-- Skyy Moore didn't practice because of an ankle injury, so the Packers will likely have a backup option returning punts and kicks against the Cowboys. Activating Savion Williams from injured reserve appears to be a likely scenario, providing another option at receiver and returner. Per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Moore had his left foot in a boot and was scootering through the locker room on Wednesday.
-- Safety Evan Williams has a new illness but was able to practice in a limited capacity on Wednesday. The Packers will hope his condition doesn't worsen over the week, or spread to others.
-- Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown didn't practice for the Cowboys on Wednesday. He's a preferred starter at linebacker, although rookie Jaishawn Barham has played well in his absence.
-- Defensive lineman Jordon Riley was designated for return, opening his 21-day practice window on Wednesday. He suffered an Achilles tendon tear in late December of last year. He'll need time to ramp up, but Riley -- a run-stuffing nose tackle type -- could help the depth along the defensive line in a week or two.
