Green Bay Packers linebacker Edgerrin Cooper was carted off the field with an Achilles injury during the third quarter of Sunday's showdown with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. On the play, Cooper went down without contact, immediately looked behind him and then grabbed at his ankle area.
The Packers immediately ruled out Cooper for the rest of the contest. The initial prognosis doesn't look good for Cooper, who was enjoying a Pro Bowl caliber start to the 2026 season. In fact, before his injury on Sunday, Cooper had a team-high nine tackles, plus a sack and an interception.
