Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs exited Sunday's showdown with the New England Patriots after suffering a hand injury during the first quarter. He was seen jogging back to the locker room for evaluation, but even after returning to the sideline, Jacobs did not immediately return to the game.
Jacobs appeared to get his right hand caught in the face mask of an opponent while attempting a stiff arm at the end of a run in the red zone in the first quarter.
The Packers say he's questionable to return. Packers Wire will update this post if Jacobs is ruled out coming out of halftime.
The TV broadcast showed Jacobs working with trainers on the sideline on several occasions, and one clip showed Jacobs wincing in pain while attempting to catch
a pass on the sideline.
Jacobs rushed four times for five yards before suffering the injury.
Pierre Strong Jr. and Kaleb Johnson are the Packers' remaining healthy running backs. MarShawn Lloyd is out Sunday with a knee injury.
