The first drive was an injury nightmare for the Green Bay Packers. One play after receiver Jayden Reed was carted off on a backboard after suffering a neck injury, right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele suffered a significant lower body injury and was carted off the field at MetLife Stadium.
Bako-Bewele appeared to be in incredible pain before he was attended to by trainers. The Packers reported Bako-Bewele's injury as a knee injury and immediately ruled him out of Sunday's game against the Jets.
According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, an aircast was placed on Bako-Bewele's right leg before he was carted off the field.
As was the case with Reed, teammates huddled around Bako-Bewele as he was carted off.

Bako-Bewele was playing in his second game since returning from offseason surgery to repair a partially torn patellar tendon.
Anthony Belton, a 2025 second-round pick, is the likely backup for Bako-Bewele at right tackle.
The Packers lost two key players to potentially significant injuries and had to punt to open Sunday's Week 2 showdown with the Jets.
