With the NFL trade deadline fast approaching, many players are moving, including Jeffery Simmons, whom the Tennessee Titans traded to the Chicago Bears on Thursday.
One player who has a new home is long-time rival Quenton Nelson, who was sent from the Indianapolis Colts to the Seattle Seahawks, and guess what: His debut with the Super Bowl champs will come against Simmons and the Bears.
In a Monday Night Football match, the two rivals will face off with their new teams, and when asked about the matchup, Nelson had some interesting comments.

“I mean, he's an amazing football player and competitor, and yeah, I was like, ‘Man, can't get away from this guy.’ So, yeah, it will be another battle against him this week,” he said.
Nelson will try to get some revenge on Simmons, who led the Titans to their only victory of 2026 over the Colts in Week 6, with the defense leading the charge.
Amid the sadness in Nashville over the surprise trade, it is fitting that Simmons will make his Bears debut in primetime against Nelson and the Seahawks, giving his fans a chance to see him under the bright lights that have eluded the Titans in recent seasons.
