A few days before training camp began, Tennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh announced that right tackle J.C. Latham and safety Amani Hooker would start training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. Both Latham and Hooker suffered minor injuries that didn't require an injured reserve designation, meaning the organization can activate them at any time.
On Tuesday, Saleh announced that Hooker was coming off the PUP list, and today he announced that Latham will come off the PUP list as well.

The Titans drafted Latham with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. He switched from right tackle to left tackle for his rookie season, starting and playing every offensive snap in all 17
games and recovering three fumbles. In 2025, the Titans signed Dan Moore Jr., which allowed Latham to move back to the right side, where he is most comfortable.
Nicknamed "Trench King" for his ability to stand his ground against opposing defenders, Latham missed a few games in 2025 while nursing a hip strain, but he started all 13 games he played.
Ahead of training camp, Latham was dealing with a strained pectoral muscle, which is why he was placed on PUP. That injury seems to be on the mend now, though, as he will come off the PUP list today and return to practice ahead of putting on pads this weekend.
