The Tennessee Titans enter Week 5 winless, and it is starting to look like a lost season focused on future development, leaving many fans wondering whether Tennessee will be active at the trade deadline to add draft capital for the 2027 NFL Draft.
Titans fans aren’t the only ones who are starting to think Tennessee could be sellers at the deadline; NFL Insider Adam Schefter believes that could be the case. In fact, he even names one player to watch: running back Tony Pollard.

Like many on the Titans’ offense, he hasn’t gotten off to a great start in 2026, though his numbers through three games are solid given the team's struggles.
So far, he has rushed for 221 yards on 54 carries (4.1 ypc) and one touchdown, while adding eight receptions for 24 yards.
In the final year of his contract, it could make some sense for Tennessee to entertain offers. Pollard may not be the most explosive back, but he runs hard and is productive. More importantly, he is consistent and would add an experienced running back to any backfield if Tennessee did decide to try to deal the veteran back.
