The Tennessee Titans are wrapping up preparations for this week’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles and will need a sound game plan on both sides of the ball to stay competitive.
This will be especially important for the defense, where the Eagles’ weapons can pose a significant challenge. Specifically, Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley, who are both dynamic playmakers.
Before practice on Thursday, defensive coordinator Gus Bradley talked about some of the problems that Hurts can pose.

“We’ve got a lot of tape over the course of time. His style-
he’s always been a guy that can make plays with his feet. He extends plays; he takes shots on extensions of plays. He can run the ball, extend the series because of it.”
With Hurts's skill set, it’s no wonder Bradley and his defensive assistants are challenging the secondary to plaster the back end with receivers. This would likely trickle down to the linebackers, with the Eagles’ Dallas Goedert as one of their go-to tight end targets.
The Eagles may be without AJ Brown in 2026, but still have the weapons to make the Titans pay, and Tennessee will need a complete performance against Philadelphia if they want to be competitive.
