The Tennessee Titans lost again to the Baltimore Ravens, and for a fourth week, the major issue was different.
Unlike Week 3, when Cam Ward came up short in a comeback attempt, Ward bounced back this week, and the play calling let Tennessee down. When asked about Ward’s performance this week, head coach Robert Saleh again stood by his young signal caller and made his opinion clear.

“We have the utmost confidence in Cam. The kid’s gonna be a damn good quarterback. Everyone just needs to take a deep breath and let him grow. If you can’t objectively watch the tape and look at him from Week 1 last year to Week 1 this year to Week 4 yesterday and not see improvement, then you’re just being biased by your
own opinion.”
Ward definitely wasn't the problem against the Ravens, and even his interception wasn't truly his fault, since the ball hit Tony Pollard's hands. Ward was in control all game, looked poised, and made the most of his opportunities. Unfortunately, play calling took the ball out of his hands in a couple of critical moments, and Tennessee came up short.
Ward took a step forward against the Ravens, and he was not the reason Tennessee came up short.
