1. Titans Pass Rush vs. Jameis Winston
With Dart out, the Giants are expected to turn to Jameis Winston at quarterback. Winston is a pocket passer with little running ability, so the Titans defensive line has one
job on passing downs: Collapse the pocket.
The Titans have one of the NFL's most disruptive interior defenders in Jeffery Simmons, who currently leads the league in pass rush wins through two games. Consistent pressure on Winston could force the Giants into difficult down-and-distance situations and create turnover opportunities for a defense that had two interceptions last week.
2. Cam Ward vs. Giants Secondary
Cam Ward showed improvement from Week 1 to Week 2, but the Titans need their second-year quarterback to continue progressing, especially on the road. With his first road game of this season, Ward needs to get off to a good start after finishing his rookie season with a 55% completion percentage on the road versus 63% in home games.
