The Tennessee Titans are preparing to kick off their season against the New York Jets on Sunday at Nissan Stadium, and opened the week by adding an experienced defensive back to the practice squad.
On Monday, Tennessee agreed to terms with veteran cornerback Isaiah Oliver and waived safety Jerrick Reed in a corresponding move.

Oliver is an interesting addition: a former second-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons in the 2018 NFL Draft, he brings an experienced nickel to the practice squad and, ironically, has spent the past two seasons with the New York Jets.
A nine-year veteran, the 6-foot, 200-pound cornerback
has played with the Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, and New York Jets in his career, seeing action in 110 games (53 starts), recording 382 tackles and three interceptions. He most recently spent the offseason with the Arizona Cardinals, but was released during their final roster moves as they cut down to 53 players.
