The Tennessee Titans host the Cleveland Browns at Nissan Stadium this Sunday at 12:00 p.m. CST.
Over the history of the meetings between these two teams, they've consistently been relatively evenly matched (overall, there are always outliers!). The Browns own the series 37-33, and over the last 10 games, they are tied at 5-5.
This year, the Browns look like a brand new team under Todd Monken and with Deshaun Watson under center. They are 4-2 this season and currently lead the AFC North. The Titans, meanwhile, are just finding their mojo after landing their first win in Week 6 over the Indianapolis Colts, who subsequently fired their general manager.
Every week we look at the Titans' opponents' rosters to see if there's a player we'd like to steal
for that week. When it comes to the Browns, they didn't have many players who stood out, especially in areas of need for the Titans. We narrowed it down to a couple, then finally agreed on one: Left tackle Spencer Fano.
Fano was the No. 9 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, and it's no secret that the Titans have struggled at the left tackle position. During his final season at Utah, Fano allowed five pressures, zero sacks, and zero quarterback hits with an overall 83.9 grade by Pro Football Focus. The expectation for Fano is that he will be a dependable, multi-year starting tackle, and PFF identified him as having All-Pro potential in its pre-draft evaluations.
Right now, Fano is playing like an average NFL tackle rather than an elite one, but that's likely to change as the season progresses.
Protecting Cam Ward has been a problem, as he's been sacked 10 times in six games, and there have been clear instances of blown protection this season. Fano would be a huge help in preventing those missed protections.
