The Tennessee Titans followed up consecutive losses to begin the 2026 NFL season with another close loss to the New York Giants in Week 4. The first half told the same story for the third week in a row for their offense, scoring zero points this time.
However, QB Cam Ward got into a rhythm in the second half, but couldn't finish off the late rally. He led three red zone drives but had a turnover on downs on one and threw the game-ending interception on their final drive in the end zone in their 12-7 loss.
Losing games is never fun, and the schedule doesn't get easier with a matchup against the Baltimore Ravens coming up in Week 4. Here’s a look at the snap counts from Tennessee's Week 2 loss to the Eagles.

The good news this week? The Titans' offense
sustained long enough drives to play close to the same amount of snaps as the defense. However, the majority of that came in the second half once again as they lost the time of possession by nearly 10 game minutes (34:26 to 25:34).
DT Jeffery Simmons saw his snap count increase from Week 1 to Week 2, and so did the production. In Week 3, he played all but one play for the defense and rewarded them with 10 tackles (including two for loss) and one sack against the Giants.
Once again, the Titans' offense needs to sustain drives better earlier in the game. The defense held the Giants offense without a touchdown, but that likely won't be the case against the Ravens in Week 4.
