The Tennessee Titans are preparing to face the Houston Texans this week, and they'll see a familiar face. On Thursday, the Texans announced they were signing wide receiver Bryce Oliver to their 53-man roster ahead of this matchup.
As a valuable special teamer, many outside the organization believed Oliver belonged on the 53-man roster. Unfortunately, even as a gunner, he couldn't displace Xavier Restrepo for the final receiver room spot at the end of training camp. Since then, Oliver has also spent time on the Cleveland Browns practice squad.

Oliver was a fan favorite who made the Titans as an undrafted free agent from Youngstown State following the 2024 NFL Draft. He eventually saw action
in 13 games over two seasons in Nashville, recording seven receptions for 103 yards. But his biggest impact came on special teams.
While it is unlikely he will have grasped the offense well enough to make his debut for the Texans, he still has a shot because of his ability as a gunner on punt coverage. However, he will likely be inactive this week when the Texans invade Nissan Stadium.
