The Tennessee Titans had a quiet day before starting full-scale preps ahead of their Week 1 matchup with the New York Jets, but that didn’t stop them from hosting a handful of players for workouts. In all, the Titans worked out an interesting mix of nine players from both sides of the ball.
Per the NFL transaction wire, the Titans worked out Beau Brade, Natrone Brooks, Jason Brownlee, Xavier Gipson, Gage Larvadain, Austin Reed, Marquise Robinson, Tyler Scott, and Jack Stoll, although it doesn’t appear that any were signed.
On offense, Tennessee worked out multiple wide receivers, a quarterback, and a tight end. With a mix of receivers, bringing in a quarterback with some practice squad experience makes sense. Reed was an undrafted rookie free
agent with the Chicago Bears in 2024 and spent the season on their practice squad. Out of the league in 2025, he went to camp with the Baltimore Ravens after a solid UFL season with the Dallas Renegades.
Browlee, Gipson, Larvadain, and Scott all have some type of NFL experience in their careers, with Scott having the highest draft pedigree (third round 2023 - Chicago Bears), with Gipson having the most production of the four wide receivers with 29 career receptions for 274 yards and one touchdown while adding 1990 return yards and one touchdown, with most coming during his stint with the Jets in 2023.
Stoll was the only tight end brought in for a workout. Entering the league as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021, he did work his way into some starting reps in 2022 and 2023 with the Eagles, and again in 2025 with the New Orleans Saints. He went to training camp with the Cleveland Browns, but was released with an injury settlement in late August.
On the defensive side of the ball, Tennessee worked out two cornerbacks (Brooks and Robinson) and one safety (Brade). All three entered the league as undrafted rookie free agents, with Brade (Baltimore Ravens) and Brooks (Atlanta Falcons) having some NFL experience.
The Titans will return to the practice field on Wednesday, as they ramp up preparations for their Week 1 matchup against the New York Jets.
