Cam Ward gives his approval to new song ahead of Titans' season opener

Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward has a new song with his name on it, and he is perfectly fine with hearing it at Nissan Stadium.

The Titans quarterback recently responded to “Cam Ward,” a new song by Romellz featuring Mayr, and made it clear that he likes what he heard. “I liked it, I liked it, we’ll see if they play it at the stadium this week!” is what Ward said in response to Titans ESPN NFL Nation reporter Turron Davenport about hearing the song.

song had already started making the rounds among Titans fans on social media after its release on Tuesday, September 8, with Ward giving it his approval before his media session began on Wednesday morning. He even suggested he might tell the Titans to play it during their home opener against the New York Jets this week.

Cam Ward has a new game-day anthem

It’s not every day that an NFL quarterback gets a song specifically named after him, especially one that could potentially make its way to his team’s stadium. However, Romellz and Mayr’s “Cam Ward” brings an interesting potential addition to the Week 1 buildup.

If Ward follows through on his suggestion and gets the song played at Sunday’s opener, it could quickly become an anthem for him and the Tennessee Titans fanbase, pending success, of course.
