The Tennessee Titans had a solid outing against the Baltimore Ravens, but they fell just short of an upset.
During the contest, defensive tackle John Franklin-Myers kneed Ravens running back Derrick Henry on a Lamar Jackson touchdown pass; although the play went unpenalized, the NFL saw things differently.
On Saturday, the Gameday Accountability Office announced it was fining Franklin-Myers $12,537 for unnecessary roughness (striking/kicking/kneeing). This will be Franklin-Myers' first fine with the Titans, and the organization's fourth of the season.
In 2025, Tennessee racked up more than $160,000 in fines. This was roughly 4% of the league's average annual fine total ($4 million).
All fines go to the Professional Athletes Foundation to support
Legends in need and to the NFL Foundation to further support the health, safety, and wellness of athletes at all levels, including youth football and the communities that support the game.
Franklin-Myers and the Titans will return to the field to face the Houston Texans at Nissan Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
