We are one month away from the NFL trade deadline, and the rumors are beginning to heat up. The Tennessee Titans, specifically, could have two veterans to watch as the NFL trade deadline approaches.
In its list of 10early NFL trade candidates, Mike Ginnitti of Spotrac identified running back Tony Pollard and wide receiver Calvin Ridley as potential trade options for Tennessee. Although neither player is guaranteed to be traded, their contracts and the team’s early struggles could make them names to monitor before the November 10th deadline.
Will the Titans become sellers before the NFL trade deadline?
Tennessee's 0-4 start makes its approach to the trade deadline worth watching. If the losses keep piling up, the front office could decide whether to prioritize immediate competitiveness or future roster building.
Trading Pollard or Ridley could provide additional draft capital, with Ginnitti projecting their value at a 5th- or 6th-round pick.
Ridley, especially, has been utilized less as a second-year wide receiver; Elic Ayomanor appears to be WR3 based on their snap counts over the last two weeks. Whether Tennessee moves either player before the trade deadline will depend on its direction over the next couple of weeks and the value another team is willing to offer.
